Of the 120 executives surveyed by Deloitte & Touche, 25 percent were with telecommunications companies; 24 percent were with broadcast or cable television firms; 21 percent were with consumer electronics or personal computer manufacturers; 14 percent were with publishing/advertising firms; and 16 percent were with entertainment companies. Fifty-five percent of the respondents were chairs, presidents, or chief executive officers, 30 percent were executive vice presidents or vice presidents, and the remaining 30 percent were senior managers.
