Author Biography
Jeffrey S. Rosenthal is a professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Toronto. Rosenthal received his B.S. in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science from the University of Toronto when he was 20 and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Harvard University at 24. He has worked as a computer game programmer, a musician, and improvisational comedy performer, and has enjoyed flipping coins, rolling dice, and computing probabilities since he was a child.
