The TRB Committee for Review of the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Research, Development, and Demonstration Programs has issued its fifth and final letter report to the FRA. The report explores the FRA's responses to past committee recommendations, examines the continuation or completion of current FRA research, and includes recommendations for future research directions. The report also summarizes the topics expected to be explored by a new committee, to be formed later this year, that will continue peer reviews of FRA's research and development program.
