Estes Award in Social and Behavioral Sciences - A gift from William K. and Katherine W. Estes to be used initially for an award relating to contributions to the prevention of nuclear war. After several awards are given for this purpose, the remaining money will be set aside for use by the Commission on Behavioral and Social Sciences and Education.
