Reported correlations (Pearson r) are typically between 0.13 and 0.17.


Integrity tests, conscientiousness measures, and structured interviews typically show correlations in the range of 0.30 to 0.40 with indicators of job performance (Schmidt and Hunter, 1999).


Test scores showed average correlations of 0.21 and 0.33 with job performance and counterproductivity, respectively; correcting for unreliability and a variety of statistical artifacts, the estimated population correlations were 0.34 and 0.47.
