33 APPENDIX A STATEMENT OF TASK The committee has been asked by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for a review of its Logistics Systems Modernization Program (LSMP). The committee will review the modernization strategy and management approaches being employed in the program. Specifically, the committee will perform the following tasks: 1. Review the DLA mission, organization, and operations. This will include visits to selected DLA sites in order to observe operations and existing automation resources.
