In order for NASA to be able to use the results of the heliophysics review in formulating its report to the House and Senate Committees on the schedule required, the NAS findings must be received by NASA no later than January 15, 2009. I would like to request that the NRC submit a suitable proposal for execution of the review by the Space Studies Board. Once agreement on the scope, cost, and schedule of the proposed study has been achieved, the Contracting Officer will issue a task order for implementation.
