Exploring the Intersection of Science Education and 21st Century Skills: A Workshop Summary
Virginia is beginning to implement this vision, and other states still have many questions. Some school districts, he said have developed rubrics to guide teaching and learning of 21st century skills, while others are just beginning to develop such rubrics. Similarly, states and school districts are at different stages of incorporating 21st century skills into teacher professional development. In the context of this continuum of different stages of movement toward 21st century skills, he said, the workshop papers and discussions are very helpful.
