In that capacity, he was responsible for planning and directing the research, development, engineering, testing, and evaluation of future weapons, sensors, ships, aircraft, unmanned vehicles, and space systems for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. Mr. Rumpf holds an M.S. degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Colorado, a diploma in fluid dynamics from the Von Karman Institute in Belgium, and a B.S. degree in aeronautical engineering from the University of Colorado.
