• Organize communications and training activities on the economy, technology, and management of domestic and overseas dairy industry

• Organize the collection of domestic and overseas economic and technological information in the dairy industry, and excel in relevant technological and information journals

• Appraise and select top industry personnel and advanced enterprises

• Participate in international organizations and relevant meetings on behalf of the dairy industry

• Establish industry rules and agreements on behalf of the member units

• Bring about new products, new processes, new technologies, new materials, and new equipments

• Coordinate the product pricing, technology, and experience exchange among enterprises

• Establish quality supervision and inspection and quality standards under the trust of the government, and put forward suggestions on the policies related to development planning

Local Government Food Safety Office, Health Supervision Bureau, Food & Drug Supervision & Management Bureau, Industrial and Commercial Bureau, Quality & Technology Supervision Bureau

• The local People’s government above county level determines the food safety supervision and management obligations of the health administration, agriculture administration, quality supervision, industrial and commercial administration management, and food and drug supervision and management departments of corresponding levels in accordance with the Food Safety Law and the regulations of the State Council. The relevant departments are responsible for the food safety supervision and management work within their administrative regions under their scope of responsibility

• The health administration, agriculture administration, quality supervision, industrial and commercial administration management, and food and drug supervision and management departments above the county level should enhance communications and cooperation, exercise their functions and powers, and undertake their respective obligations in accordance with laws.
