TRB's Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) Synthesis 66: Fixed-Route Transit Ridership Forecasting and Service Planning Methods examines the state of the practice in fixed-route transit ridership forecasting and service planning. The report also explores forecasting methodologies, resource requirements, data inputs, and organizational issues.
