218 The following is the full text of AIP Grant Assurance No. 1. Grant Assurance No. 1 is a listing of federal requirements applied to air- ports as a result of accepting AIP grants. Many of these requirements apply to other federal assistance programs as well. The specific requirements in bold apply to airports through operation of provi- sions of Title 49 of the U.S. Code. Some, like the Davis–Bacon Act, may apply to other federal financial assistance programs, based on the terms of the statutes authorizing the programs. Specific require- ments in italics are government-wide requirements implemented through regulations promulgated by individual federal agencies. In the case of FAA, the regulations are issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation Sponsor Certification. The sponsor hereby assures and certifies, with respect to this grant that: 1. General Federal Requirements. It will comply with all applica- ble federal laws, regulations, executive orders, policies, guidelines, and requirements as they relate to the application, acceptance and use of Federal funds for this project including but not limited to the following: Federal Legislation a.
