If these rough estimates are accurate, then he noted that IRAP in its current structure and business model may be reaching only 1/3rd to 1/10th of its potential market. This raises issues in a decentralized federation of how IRAP could collaborate more closely with other federal and provincial programs (there are over 250 federal and provincial innovation support programs) to deliver relevant innovation services to a larger market of eligible SMEs.
