1.0 SURVEY INSTRUMENT A national survey of current agency practices was conducted to examine some of the areas where transportation and tourism interface. The following questionnaire was distributed to 53 AASHTO-member transportation deparDnents. A second version, not provided in this report, was distributed to the 53 state travel offices in corresponding states.
