TRB's National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) RRD 355: Summary of Cast-In-Place Concrete Connections for Precast Deck Systems summarizes the results of a project that developed recommended design and construction specifications and examples for the design and construction of durable cast-in-place reinforced concrete connections for precast deck systems.
The project focused on systems that reduce the need to place and remove formwork, thus accelerating on-site construction and improving safety.
