TRB’s second Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP 2) Capacity Project C33A has released a report titled An Examination of 14 Projects to Validate the Results of SHRP 2’s Transportation Project Impact Case Studies (T-PICS) that evaluates the results of T-PICS.

T-PICS is a web-based, preliminary planning tool for planners, policy makers, and others interested in gauging the economic impact of typical highway capacity improvement projects conceived across a wide array of contexts—including project type, geography, project motivation, and project length.
