TRB’s National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Web-Only Document 118, Part II: Incorporating ITS Into the Transportation Planning Process: An Integrated Planning Framework (ITS, M&O, Infrastructure) Practitioner’s Guidebook explores factors that are pushing regions and states towards integration of intelligent transportation systems in the transportation planning process, including the institutional, organizational, and technical processes that are included within it.
