Meetings February 6â7, 2020 The forum members and speakers met in person to discuss the preparedness and response challenges related to the 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The forum also considered the risks associated with the pharmaceutical supply chain and the challenges pertaining to the duty to care and ensuring personnel availability during the response to a public health emergency. Finally, the forum explored the importance of social networks during and after public health emergencies and opportunities for further collaboration. June 6, 2020 This forum meeting was planned as a virtual event to accommodate the health and safety measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic. During this meeting, the forum members shared their own experiences and perspectives related to the ongoing COVID-19 response activities. Forum members also discussed issues related to preparedness for the upcoming hurricane and wildfire season in the Unites States. November 18, 2020 The forum met virtually and was briefed on the challenges and opportunities related to workplace testing for COVID-19. Members also shared updates on their respective activities and professional perspectives, including briefings on the National Disaster Safety Board legislation and the Regional Disaster Health Response System. The forum also explored the potential role of EMS providers in the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines and discussed ideas for potential future workshops. 6
