Recall the comet from Exercise 5 above, streaking through the solar system.
Some of the ice in the comet became water vapor as it approached the Sun.  Did
the ice melt into liquid water first, then evaporate, or did the ice sublimate
directly into vapor without melting?  The phase diagram for water may provide
insight into this question.
