Workshop Objectives

Workshop presentations and discussion will explore the following:

  • The history and economic forces that shape current reality for many workers in the care economy and many American families and the lessons and insights important to shaping policy;
  • Government policies and approaches to address economic harms experienced by workers and families; and
  • Promising work unfolding in the not-for-profit sector.
