David Shaver is head of the Solid State Division at MIT Lincoln Laboratory where he oversees research in such varied areas as high-performance imaging sensors, deeply scaled silicon microelectronics, solid-state lasers, optoelectronics, photonics, superconductive devices, quantum computing, and biological agent sensors. His current personal technical interests have included development of photon count ing sensors and three-dimensional integrated imagers, and technology related to trusted electronics.
