Transportation Knowledge Network Concept Purpose The business plan describes the purpose of TKNs and the potential payoff from investments in transportation information sharing. TKNs are intended to improve peer-to-peer information sharing about successful practices; provide more efficient access to information resources including data sets, documents, and multi-media objects; and enable more efficient and effective conduct of research.
