4 1.7 Overview of Post-Award Phases and Tools The D-B project delivery process offers the opportunity to enhance performance in areas such as cost, schedule, and quality through stronger alignment, constructability input, innovation, and single point of contact. Ultimately, D-B delivers a project that meets at least the same technical standards and levels of quality as the traditional D-B-B process.
