Also, all analysis methods were used to analyze images of aggregate particles in order to identify the ability of these methods to accurately rank aggregates and capture unique characteristics of aggregates. The analysis results revealed that some of the available analysis methods are influenced by both angularity and shape changes and, therefore, are not suitable to distinguish between these two characteristics.
