1 Under the ACRP Project 02-61, existing stormwater-related ACRP products were reviewed to develop a list for updating products based on greatest benefit to the ACRP audience. The research team observed that most of the documents reviewed contained discussions of regulatory drivers, with variability in level of detail and accuracy, and a significant amount of shared content that is now out-of-date.

2 Clean Water Act Requirements for Airports 1.2 Scope This publication describes the environmental regulations and permitting programs to which airports may be subject in their management of stormwater and other types of water resources, including these topics: • Governing federal programs; • Stormwater discharges associated with industrial activities, construction activities, and municipal separate storm sewer systems; • Process water or wastewater treatment discharges; • Industrial wastewater pretreatment discharges; and • Other relevant permit programs.
