26 Implementation After obtaining executive management understanding and approval of the recommended approach to implement ramp control, consider assigning the implementation of the solution to a specific project manager within the airport organization. Giving the responsibility and the authority to implement the decision to a single, focal point-of-contact will prove valuable because of the technical and organizational complexity of adapting this new capability at the airport.
