19 An outreach strategy would publicize the results of this research project and detail the project team's recommended approaches on how to best inform potential users of the updated CAPTA/CAPTool including a variety of documents and other informational products that are useful in educating and assisting the targeted user communities in adopting the revised and updated model. Based on the research conducted as part of Tasks 1 & 2, the research team identified the following stakeholders and organizations as having the potential to support implementation of the CAPTA outreach strategy: DOT planning staff and engineers in Planning, Traffic Operations, Statewide Planning, and Systems Planning Planning organizations such as Council of Governments, MPOs, and the American Planning Association (APA) Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE)

26 5. IMPROVE ERROR NOTIFICATIONS Error notification capabilities within the original CAPTool spreadsheet model have been expanded. The research team added informative, and updated, error messages throughout the CAPTool, especially where there is restricted data input. Examples of the added or amended error messages include: Must enter either 'Y', 'N', or use the drop‐down menu. You must enter an "X" or use the drop‐down list in this field, or leave it blank. You must enter a whole number between 0 and 100,000,000 or use the controls to the right in order to change values. 6.
