3 RECOMMENDATIONS The safety prediction methods developed in this research should be incorporated into the HSM. Although not very common, a few segments categorized as eight-lane undivided, eight-lane with two-way left-turn lane, 10-lane divided, and one-lane and five-lane one-way arterials do exist.
