From page 169...
... The system integrity and availability of a GPS/Loran-C system is also improved over GPS alone. A study focused on integrity and availability requirements for Nation non-precision approaches has shown that RAIM performance is sigIiiffcantly improved by the presence of Loran-C signals, and availability improves from 99 percent for a GPS receiver with MAIM and a barometric altimeter to 99.7 percent for a GPS/Loran-C receiver with RAIM.44 The integration of Loran-C with DGPS has also been proposed as a potential means of improving both integrity and accuracy.
