FINANCIAL SUPPORT In November, ~922, the National Research Council received a grant of $5000 from the Russell Sage Foundation to finance the administrative work of the Committee and to assist in initiating its program. From this fund were financed the preliminary conferences and Committee meetings, as well as the clerical and office expenses incurred by the Chairman.
