APPENDIX A
Memorandum of Understanding Signatory Sheet
The RAMP working group brought together more than 14 organizations, including
Caltrans, the Department of Water Resources, California Department of Fish and
Wildlife, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency, University of California, Davis, and The Nature
Conservancy, to convene on a regular basis and explore the potential for regional advance
mitigation in California. In 2009, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was drafted to
initiate the implementation of RAMP through a pilot study and other activities to explore
the benefits of advance mitigation.
