NCHRP Web-Only Document 279: Information Findability Implementation Pilots at 1 State Transportation Agencies 1.0 Introduction This document presents the results of pilot test applications of the findability techniques described in the research phase of NCHRP Project 20-97. The testing was conducted in two rounds. The first round of tests included the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT). The second round involved the Iowa Department of Transportation (IADOT) as well as additional testing activities at WSDOT and UDOT. This memo serves a single self-contained document summarizing the both rounds of findability tests. It also includes implementation plans for each of the three participating states.
