63 APPENDIX I Prospective Sponsor Letter, Lyon County, Nevada, Fly-in The Lyon County Fly-In, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, has made the leap from spring to fall and will hold its annual event at the Silver Springs/Lyon County Regional Airport in Silver Springs, Nevada on October 6 & 7, 2012. The Fly-In event is held to introduce aviation to the general public and the public to get up close and personal with pilots who build and fly their own airplanes. The 2011 event was a huge success. The Fly-In and the Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 403, flew 200 Young Eagles.
